Dear PT Schools Families,
Happy Spring! Welcome to our new newsletter.
We are excited to share updates with you below about the 26-27 school calendar and the PTHS/OCEAN construction project funded by the passage of the 2026 bond.
I had a wonderful time last weekend visiting the student art exhibition downtown during Art Walk. Such amazing art from all four of our schools! Thank you to our art teachers, student artists, PTA and City of PT Arts Commission for putting on such a wonderful multi-day event. It was also great to see our student musicians playing music and the PT Cruiser Food Truck serving tasty treats.
This month we are celebrating Secretary/Administrative Professionals Week. We are so grateful to our district and school secretaries for all the many jobs they juggle effortlessly every day!
Reminder, there is no school next week for spring break.
Enjoy the sunshine,
Linda Rosenbury PT Schools Superintendent

Secretary/Administrative Professionals Week, observed April 19–25, is a time to appreciate the dedicated individuals who support our schools in countless ways.
With professionalism, grace, and kindness, they manage both visible and behind-the-scenes responsibilities, ensuring that our staff, students, and families are consistently supported.
Their steady commitment and attention to detail play an essential role in the successful operation of our district. Thank you to our secretaries and administrative professionals!

Port Townsend School Board Directors walked through schools this spring to see School Improvement Plans (SIPs) in action. You can find SIPs for every school on their school websites. Student and family survey data helps inform the creation of SIPs every year. Thank you!
On April 2nd, Associated Student Body (ASB) students and advisors were honored by the Board for their significant contributions to promoting positive school culture and increasing student voice.
The Port Townsend School Board typically meets on the first and third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise stated. You can learn more at www.ptschools.org/page/board-meeting-information
